A COLLABORATIVE SPACE FOR LEARNINGWhat is Supervision?
This is an essential part of professional development for therapists and students alike. It provides a safe and supportive space to reflect on practice, enhance skills and maintain high ethical standards of care, whilst also meeting accreditation requirements.
I offer both individual and group supervision and endeavour to foster growth, self-awareness and ethical practice so that you feel supported and confident in your work.
In Ireland clinical supervision is a fundamental requirement for practising counsellors and psychotherapists. The requirements are different for pre-accredited members and accredited therapists with more sessions required for trainees.
Cross Professional SupervisionSupervision is also offered for those working in related fields such as social workers, nurses, medics, gardaí, emergency responders, coaches and teachers. Caring professions can present unique emotional and ethical challenges and supervision offers an ideal confidential space to reflect and process on these issues.
Supervision assists in meeting regulatory requirements, maintaining a healthy work-life balance, reducing burnout and improving job satisfaction.
